1. ABOUT US AND THESE TERMS
1.1 This website, prepking.co.uk, is operated by PrepKing Ltd ("PrepKing", "we", "us", "our"). We are a company registered in [England and Wales / Northern Ireland / Scotland] under company number 13512733, with our registered office at 8 Glenalmond, Norwich, England, NR4 6AG.
1.2 You can contact us by email at info@prepking.co.uk or through our Contact page.
1.3 These terms apply to every order you place with us, including one-time orders, weekly and monthly meal plans, and Ready-To-Eat Chicken. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1.4 These terms are for consumers buying for personal use. If you are a gym or trade partner, separate trade terms apply. Please contact us for a copy.
1.5 Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.
2. USING OUR WEBSITE AND ACCOUNT
2.1 You must be 18 or over to place an order.
2.2 If you create an account, keep your login details secure. You are responsible for orders placed through your account.
2.3 You must give accurate details, including your delivery address and contact number. We are not responsible for failed deliveries caused by incorrect details.
2.4 We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these terms.
3. PRODUCTS, ALLERGENS AND NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION
3.1 Our meals are cooked fresh to order by our chefs. Each meal's ingredients, allergens, calories and macronutrients are shown on its product page and on the label.
3.2 Allergens. Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens, including [list the relevant ones, e.g. gluten, milk, eggs, soya, sesame, celery, mustard, nuts]. We take care to prevent cross-contamination, but we cannot guarantee any meal is free from traces of allergens. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering. Always check the label before eating.
3.3 Nutritional values. Calories and macros are calculated from our recipes and are accurate to within normal tolerances. Natural variation in ingredients and portioning means actual values may differ slightly.
3.4 Not medical advice. Our meals are designed for active people. Nothing on our website is medical or dietary advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or follow a specialist diet, please speak to a qualified professional.
3.5 Menu changes. Our menu may change week to week. If an ingredient or meal becomes unavailable after you order, we may substitute a meal of similar type and value. We will tell you about any substitution.
3.6 Product images are for illustration. Presentation may vary slightly from the photos.
4. ORDERING AND CONTRACT FORMATION
4.1 You can order a one-time box of 10 meals, a weekly plan, a monthly plan, or Ready-To-Eat Chicken.
4.2 Weekly cut-off. Orders must be placed by 3pm on Sunday for delivery on the following Thursday. Orders placed after the cut-off go into the next week's delivery.
4.3 After you order, we will email you an order confirmation. The contract between us is formed when we send that confirmation.
4.4 We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is unavailable, we cannot deliver to your address, or there is an obvious pricing error. If we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
5. PRICES AND PAYMENT
5.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Current prices are:

5.2 The price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you order. We may change prices from time to time. For subscriptions, we will give you at least [14] days' notice by email before a price change applies, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
5.3 Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's secure payment system. We do not store your full card details.
5.4 If there is an obvious error in a price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
6. SUBSCRIPTIONS
6.1 No lock-in. Our weekly and monthly plans have no minimum term. They renew automatically until you cancel.
6.2 Billing. Weekly plans are charged £80 each week. Monthly plans are charged £300 each month. Your card is charged automatically on [billing day, e.g. the day you first ordered / each Sunday after the cut-off] until you cancel.
6.3 Choosing meals. You can change your meal choices for the next delivery up to the Sunday 3pm cut-off. If you do not choose, we will send [your previous selection / a chef's selection].
6.4 Skipping or pausing. You can skip or pause a delivery before the Sunday 3pm cut-off through your account or by contacting us. [Delete this clause if skipping or pausing is not offered.]
6.5 Cancelling.
- Weekly plans need 1 week's notice. You will receive and pay for any delivery due within that week.
- Monthly plans need 1 month's notice. You will receive and pay for any deliveries due within that month.
- You can cancel [through your account / by emailing info@prepking.co.uk]. We will confirm your cancellation by email.

7. DELIVERY
7.1 We deliver chilled every Thursday to addresses in [mainland UK / list areas, and state whether Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands, and the Channel Islands are covered].
7.2 Meals are packed in insulated thermal boxes with [ice packs / chillers], designed to keep food chilled for up to [24] hours after delivery.
7.3 Deliveries are made by [courier name]. You will receive tracking details and an estimated time slot by [email/SMS].
7.4 If you are not home, the courier may leave your box in a safe place or with a neighbour, using any instructions you gave at checkout. Once delivered as instructed, the box is your responsibility. Please refrigerate meals as soon as possible.
7.5 Late or failed deliveries. If your box arrives after Thursday or does not arrive, contact us on the day. If the box is late or lost because of us or our courier, we will offer a replacement or a refund. We are not responsible if delivery fails because the address was wrong or the box was left where you asked.
8. STORAGE AND FOOD SAFETY
8.1 Refrigerate meals at 0–5°C straight after delivery.
8.2 Eat meals by the use-by date on the label. Ready-To-Eat Chicken has a fridge shelf life of up to 12 days from production when kept sealed and chilled.
8.3 Follow the heating instructions on the label and heat until piping hot throughout. Do not reheat more than once.
8.4 [Meals can / cannot] be frozen. [If freezing is allowed, give instructions, e.g. freeze on day of delivery and eat within 1 month; defrost in the fridge.]
8.5 We are not responsible for illness or spoilage caused by incorrect storage, eating after the use-by date, or not following heating instructions.
9. CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS AND REFUNDS
9.1 Change of mind. Our meals are fresh, perishable food made to order. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods that spoil quickly. This means we cannot accept returns or give refunds if you change your mind after your order has been prepared.
9.2 Changing or cancelling before the cut-off. You can change or cancel a one-time order free of charge before 3pm on the Sunday before delivery. After the cut-off, your meals are already being prepared and the order cannot be cancelled.
9.3 Problems with your order. If your order arrives damaged, missing items, with the wrong meals, warm (not chilled), or past its use-by date, please:
1. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@prepking.co.uk.
2. Include your order number and photos of the problem, including the meal labels and packaging.
3. Keep the affected meals until we respond, unless they are unsafe.
We will then offer a replacement, a refund, or store credit for the affected items.
9.4 Your legal rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Nothing in this section limits those rights.
9.5 Refunds are paid to your original payment method within 14 days of us agreeing to the refund.
10. DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONS
10.1 Discount codes and offers are subject to their own stated conditions, including expiry dates and minimum spends.
10.2 Unless stated otherwise, only one code can be used per order. Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
10.3 Introductory or first-order discounts apply to new customers only, one per household.
10.4 We may withdraw or change a promotion at any time, but this will not affect orders already confirmed.
11. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
11.1 If you leave a review, photo or comment on our website or social channels, it must be honest, based on your own experience, and not offensive or unlawful.
11.2 You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to use and display your review on our website and marketing, with your first name and last initial.
11.3 We publish genuine reviews whether positive or negative. We may remove reviews that are fake, abusive, or unrelated to our products. [If you offer incentives for reviews, say so here and mark incentivised reviews.]
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
12.1 All content on this website, including the PrepKing name and logo, recipes, photos, text and design, belongs to PrepKing Ltd or our licensors.
12.2 You may not copy, reproduce or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
13. LIABILITY
13.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care.
13.2 We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer.
13.3 Our meals are for personal, domestic use. We are not liable for business losses, such as loss of profit or business opportunity.
13.4 We are not responsible for allergic reactions where you have not followed the allergen information on our labels and website, or for issues caused by incorrect storage (see section 8).
14. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
14.1 We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, courier strikes, supply shortages or power failures.
14.2 If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible. Where we cannot deliver, we will offer a new delivery date or a refund for meals not delivered.
15. PRIVACY
15.1 We use your personal information only as set out in our Privacy Policy.
15.2 We will only send you marketing emails or texts if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
16. CHANGES, GOVERNING LAW, COMPLAINTS AND CONTACT
16.1 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order. For subscriptions, we will email you about any significant change before it applies, and you may cancel if you do not agree.
16.2 Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of [England and Wales / Northern Ireland]. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
